How Does It Work?
Fractional radiofrequency, Morpheus 8’s chief technology, is a scientifically proven type of energy with anti-aging effects. Via the controlled heating of the deeper dermis, it stimulates the fibroblast and kickstarts collagen production. Skin is visibly tightened and densified.
To enhance the radiofrequency effects, Morpheus 8 teams up with the microneedling technology. This technique creates minuscule punctures in the superficial dermis to stimulate collagen production and new skin cells.
During the séance, the handpiece’s 24 pin-needle tip penetrates the hypodermis and the superior fat layers producing a coagulation of the fat and a contraction of conjunctive tissues.
Simultaneously, the radiofrequency energy produces a heat sensation which runs through the dermis. Throughout the seances, contours are redrawn, skin is smoother, softer, and younger looking.

What does a Morpheus 8 radiofrequency session entail?
The procedure begins with a meeting with Dr Simon Sebbah. An anesthetic cream is then applied on the treatment zone to make the procedure painless. On average, a Morpheus 8 radiofrequency session lasts 45 minutes.
The handpiece is then applied over the entire treatment zone. Redness may appear in the 7 days following the procedure and micro lesions may appear. We recommend that you deeply moisturize the treatment zone and avoid all direct exposure to the sun in the month following the session.
Morpheus 8 requires no formal recovery time and results are visible as of the first session. On average, 3 sessions are necessary to obtain optimal results.
What are the contraindications?
This treatment has no contraindications and can be performed on all skin types, regardless of the phototype (lightest to darkest skins).
What are the side-effects?
Micro lesions, redness, and/or a light edema may appear in the days following the treatment. These side effects will disappear within a week. You can however apply makeup the day after the session.
