How does it Work?
The Hydrafacial® Signature treatment by Doctor & Co is a 4-step procedure with the possibility of adding optional, complementary treatments (Deluxe, Platinium and/or microneedling)
Step 1: Exfoliation
The Hydrafacial® treatment begins with a deep cleansing and a light exfoliation to eliminate impurities (dead skin cells, sebum), followed by a light chemical peel (glycolic and salicylic acid) which eliminates the dead upper skin layers which dull the complexion and clog pores; to deepen the cleansing and smooth the skin.
Deluxe & Platinium Options: Premium Peeling
Step 2: Extraction
After being placed under a Vapozone steaming machine, an extraction via suction is performed. Painless and gentle, this step eliminates skin toxins, blackheads, and cysts. Simultaneously, the infused active ingredients minimize and tighten your pores.
Option: Microneedling
Step 3: Hydration
To beautify and deeply hydrate your skin, anti-oxidant and hyaluronic acid plumping serums are applied on your skin via the Vortex Hydrafacial® technology, guaranteeing a maximum penetration of active ingredients.

What are the contraindications?
The Hydrafacial® is adapted to all skin types and can be performed all year. However, this treatment is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Aspirin, Glycolic acid, or algae allergies.
- Acne Treatments (Roaccutane)
- Active Skin disorders (herpes, cold sores, eczema, psoriasis)
- Pregnancy and breast-feeding
- Epilepsy and auto-immune diseases
What are the side-effects?
This treatment results in immediate skin hydration, boosting radiance and glow, all visible for several days.
According to the selected peeling procedure, some light skin peeling can occur in the 2-3 days following the session.
When selecting the microneedling option, redness can appear on the skin for up to 48 hrs.
These effects are temporary, giving way to smoother, softer and healthier-looking skin.
